About Attean Lake Lodge

Founded in 1900 by Ruel Holden, Attean Lake Lodge is today still owned/operated by the same family. It is one of the last remaining true family lodges in the Northeast.

Nestled in a pristine wilderness setting, Attean is renowned for its service and comfort. It is the ultimate vacation spot, ideal for families who seek the simple pleasure of just doing things together, yet being alone in the outdoors. We are able to handle just about any events or group that you can think of, including family reunions and weddings.

Attean Lakewood Lodge offers plans with daily or weekly rates. These plans include three meals per day per person and vary between seasons. Be sure to check out our website, and get your family ready to have an experience they will never forget!

Property Location:

The Lodge is located on an Island in the middle of Attean Lake. We are 100 miles from Quebec, Canada, and a 4 hour drive from Boston, MA.


Free use of kayaks, paddle boats, sailboat, and canoes. Group events and weddings.

Kid Programs:

Babysitting available, daily and weekly rate plans include three meals per day per person.

Sports Facilities:

Boats, canoes, paddleboats, kayaks, tube

Area Attractions:

Quebec City (2 hours away), Sally Mountain
