Skiing at SilverCreek is perfect for the skier who hasn't yet conquered the difficult slopes with its slow lifts and easy-street skiing. There's plenty of area to keep you on the slopes with two ski hills which are interconnected, one of them small and tame, the other a little higher and a bigger challenge.
The resort has a special SilverCreek/Winter Park Learn-to-Ski package which lets you grow with the slopes. The package includes 2 days of skiing at SilverCreek and a third day at Winter Park (a resort with interconnected mountains and long runs for all levels of skiing).
The Inn at SilverCreek is rustic and charming containing moderately priced rooms with balconies, whirlpool bath and steam to take off the winter chill. They also have larger units and studios with moss-rock fireplaces and kitchens. The athletics club with a gym, an outdoor heated pool, whirlpools, saunas and racquetball courts is an excellent way to keep in shape for hitting those slopes!
SilverCreek also has 40 kilometers of cross-country trails and snowmobiling. Granby, a ranching town, is nearby and accessible by shuttle and is full of cozy little shops and family-run restaurants.|
