OTHER WAYS TO SPEND A WINTER'S DAY
Grand Teton National Park is an excellent place for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Here, you'll explore among spruce, fir and lodgepole pine set against the backdrop of the majestic and beautiful Tetons. For something a bit more fast paced, try dog sledding or snowmobiling through Yellowstone. It's a unique way to see Old Faithful as well as all the other wonders and wildlife that have made the Park so legendary.
Other ways to see area wildlife include safaris, guided expeditions or even a horse-drawn sleigh ride on the National Elk Refuge amidst more than 8,000 wintering elk.
