Disneyland Hotel Offers Fun for Children

Breakfasts are offered from 7 to 11:30am daily, year-round. Character Dinners feature beef and seafood entrees, a children's buffet, spaghetti, salad bar, desserts and beverage. Dinner buffets are offered from 5 to 9pm daily year-round. Reservations are not required for the Disney Character Meals. Character Meals are also great way for youngsters who are celebrating a birthday to invite their friends and family along and have a memorable party with the Disney characters. Advance arrangements can be made to have a breakfast or dinner buffet, birthday cake, specially decorated area, souvenir photo for the birthday youngster and visits from the Disney characters. The Hotel's 60-acre complex offers a wide range of recreational possibilities. Kids can pilot their own pedal boats on the marina, steer remote-control tugboats at the Queen's Berth and race mini-dune buggies by radio at the Off-Road Raceway. The luxurious resort also features three outdoor pools, a tropical beach for sand castle-building or volleyball, 10 tennis courts and a family entertainment center with nearly 80 popular video games. Youngsters can also explore the trails that wend their way amidst the Hotel's cascading waterfalls and streams. And nearby, pools of brightly colored koi fish offer young people additional diversion, including supervised daily feedings. Family entertainment at the resort includes nightly performances of the resorts choreographed Fantasy Waters spectacular featuring Disney music; country-western tunes in the Neon Cactus lounge; and the talented Bellhops musical quintet on Friday and Saturday nights year-round and daily during the summer. Children under 18 stay free when they share a room with their parents at The Disneyland Hotel, and one crib is provided free upon request to each family. Additionally, the popular family programming of the Disney Channel is available at no additional cost. There are children's souvenir Disney character mask menus and prices in all of the Hotel's restaurants; and "kiddie" cocktails are offered in most lounges.
