They wanted to convey to each person their love of the Colorado outdoors and the beauty of the flowing mountain waters. That is still their purpose today! THE GUIDES Their river "family" has grown considerably since those early days, but the team spirit, dedication and attention to detail is still at its best. Safety is the primary concern. The guides are devoted professionals who are interesting, intelligent, and fun to be with. They are experts in everything from rowing a rapid to sharing a good story. All guides go through an extensive training program and are First Aid and CPR certified. THE EQUIPMENT The most innovative and top quality equipment is used: i.e. foot stirrups on paddle rafts, self-bailing rafts, and helmets on all class IV-V sections.
