"KEIKI ALOHA" Children's Program
by ITT Sheraton Hawaii
ITT Sheraton Hawaii's "Keiki Aloha" children's program enables its young guests to make new friends and learn more about Hawaii - it's ITT Sheraton's way of sharing aloha with the future generation. Keiki (children) ages 5 to 12 staying with their parents can participate in a wide range of special activities while staying at ITT Sheraton Hotels in Hawaii. The "Keiki Aloha" program, now in its 8th successful year, attracts more than 1,500 children every year.
In Waikiki, Keiki Aloha is offered year-round - the only program in Hawaii to boast this distinction - and is headquartered at Ho'okipa, a new activity center at the SHERATON WAIKIKI. Ho'okipa includes a special children's activity center complete with a play area, separate TV area with VCR and library of children's reading materials. The program runs from 9am-5pm daily and includes a supervised lunch. (Charges may vary, so confirm the fee schedule when you make your reservations.)
Activities include movies, dances, Hawaiian storytelling and board games. The daytime schedule includes water/beach sports and activities, kite flying, shell collecting, designing Hawaiian arts and crafts, and excusions to popular attractions such as Hawaii Maritime Center, Honolulu Zoo, Mission Houses Museum, Bishop Museum, Waikiki Aquarium and Ho'omaluhia Botanical Park.
During the Summer (mid-June through the end of August), an evening session is held from 6:30 to 9pm. During the week, children also learn the hula. Guests are then treated to a special hula show by the children every Friday night.
At PRINCEVILLE HOTEL, Keiki Aloha is free during the Summer and is offered from 9am to 3pm Monday through Saturday, except on Friday when the program runs from 3 to 9pm. Daytime activities include water/beach sports and games, Hawaiian arts and crafts, storytelling, hula and ukulele lessons, and lunch. On Friday, Keiki can enjoy dinner, a movie in the Cinema, Hawaiian ceremony in the Living Room, dancing and games/crafts. Lunch and dinner each costs $10.
Complementating the "Keiki Aloha" program are ITT Sheraton Hawaii Family Vacations that are available throughout the year. These vacations are available to guests when they stay three nights or more at an ITT Sheraton Hawaii property at all but the lowest rack rate.
