Ride The Comet this summer, in celebration of its 50th operating season. An authentic wooden roller coaster, The Comet reaches screaming speeds of 50 mph, and thoroughly thrills with a 78 foot drop.

There are more than 50 rides in Hersheypark with something for everyone from the smallest child to adults and senior citizens. Included among the rides are four roller coasters: Sidewinder, sooperdooperLooper, The Comet and The Trailblazer. Water attractions include Tidal Force, the tallest splashdown ride in the world, Canyon River Rapids, Frontier Chute-Out, The Coal Cracker and Tiny Timbers.
Live entertainment, featuring the singing and dancing of the best young performers in the country, is available throughout the day and night at Hersheypark. Most shows are performed five times daily from early June through Labor Day.
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre sanctuary for more than 200 birds and animals indigenous to North America. Open daily from 10 a.m. until dusk, entrance is included in the price of admission to Hersheypark (if entered from within Hersheypark) during the summer season. Separate admission is charged for those who only wish to visit the zoo. Ages 2 and younger free.
Hersheypark celebrates Christmas Candylane from mid-November through December. A town celebration featuring more than one-half million twinkling lights, rides, attraction, dining, shopping and more. Christmas Candylane is closed most Mondays and Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Admission is free. Rides are pay-as-you-go.
Creatures of the Night is an alternative family in the form of an educational celebration during the Halloween season at ZooAmerica and a portion of Hersheypark. After dark, guests can interact and observe animals in their nocturnal settings. An admission fee is charged.
Hersheypark Literacy Day in September marks the completion of the annual "Summer Fun Reading Challenge." A five-week reading program. Upon completing reading assignments, children are eligible for free admission to Hersheypark on Literacy Day.
LifeWalk is a scenic two-mile stroll through Hersheypark Paddleboats and miniature golf are available but are not included in the Hersheypark admission price. Events and star-name entertainment are available at Hersheypark Stadium and Hersheypark Arena - ticket prices vary according to show.

It is the official Visitors can find simulated chocolate factory tours, Trolleyworks departures (a historic reproduction trolley that takes tours of the town of Hershey), information services and lots of Hershey chocolate products. Admission is free.
