The "Pegasus" is the newest addition to the Big Chief complex. Pegasus caters to smaller passengers. Drivers must only be 38 inches tall. While the riders may be smaller, the thrill is not, carrying passengers through a series of turns and down a 45-foot hill. Built in 1995, the "Cyclops Coaster" plunges passengers down 75-foot drops at speeds of up to 55 mph before racing around numerous twists and turns. Thrill seekers must be at least 4 feet tall to ride the Cyclops. In response to the dare-devil craze, AIR BOINGO BUNGEE JUMP drops participants 60 feet in an amazing 1.5 seconds to an air packed cushion. All ages can experience the thrill of free-falling while still attached by a bungee cord. Those looking for excitement will not be disappointed by the EJECTION SEAT which simulates the rush of a sling shot as it propels participants into the air. THE SPACE SHOT shoots the adrenalin thirsty up a tower with the force of 4Gs and then thrusts them back with over a 1-1/2 G-force. J.B. HELICOPTERS and BADGER HELICOPTERS feature flights at 1,000 feet above the scenic sandstone cliffs of the Wisconsin River and more than 70 area attractions. Alternatively, ELUSIVE DREAM BALLOONS offers a serene spectacular aerial view of Wisconsin Dells from hot air balloon rides. At CRAZY KING LUDWIG'S ADVENTURE PARK there are many rides, including five go-cart tracks, bumper boats and a bungee jump. The new Grand Prix racers pit drivers against the clock and each other. BIG CHIEF KART & COASTER WORLD, FAST TRACK GO-CARTS and ADARE GO CARTS also offer challenging go-cart race tracks. Commemorating the history of the railroad, North Freedom, Wisconsin's MID-CONTINENT RAILWAY MUSEUM offers four trips daily on a nostalgic steam passenger train. The hour long tours venture through the scenic countryside and a former mining town to the ghost town of LaRue, Wisconsin. A restored coach depot houses the railroad collection including a rare steam powered rotary snow plow.
